Does your Xero balance not match your statement balance? Here's what you need to do

If you notice a discrepancy between the statement balance and the balance in Xero please look into why this as there may be important items missing on your Xero Portal.

If the Xero balance is different to the statement balance then the account may need reconciling (as shown here, 25 items unreconciled). Once reconciled, if they still do not match, then transactions could be missing or incorrect. Even with the bank feed enabled, the transactions can be missed off or import incorrectly so it is always worth checking this periodically.
